Who we are?
Masum Foundation is an NGO founded in the year 1989, approved under Ministry of Child & Social Welfare, and Ministry of Agriculture & Framer Welfare. It was awarded as Regional Council in 2016, by the National Centre of Organic Farming, Ghaziabad, under Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare.
Masum Foundation is pioneering research on the hazards of chemical farming, the cost of Industrial agriculture and the risk of genetics engineering have led to a paradigm shifts.
We started our operations under Paramparagat Krishi Vikash Yojna (PKVY) from West Bengal., and subsequently from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand. We have so far trained 75,000 farmers in the state of West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Uttarakhand. The group is presently working on 10,000 villages of India.
MASUM has dedicated tie-up with Organic Certified Quality Agri Inputs providers which is a necessary component in Organic Farming. Also with strategic tie-up with Technology partner in Crop Digitization for making farming for effective and organised.
MASUM has participated in Organic fairs in New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal and with its vast network & experience can provide Market linkages to the Organic farmers.
What we do?
We aim at empowering farmers through institutional development through clusters approach not only in farm practice management, input production, quality assurance but also in value addition and direct marketing through innovative means.
Taking a step towards eco-friendly living, Masum Foundation (Regional Council- PGS-India) has started a project to make model organic villages. Our team is conducting village level workshops and engaging the group of farmers to adopt organic farming.

Our Mission
Objectives
- Empowerment of SHG women group:-Trained the women and girls in various trades related to agriculture value addition product , textiles and apparels. These skills are chosen based on their willingness and potential.
- Support for entrepreneurship:-Encourage and support more women and girls to establish their own business units.
- Skill development for sustainability:-Provide training locally trades to disabled women and girls for promoting income generation, live hood security, and sustainable living.
- To encourage in the organization and development of small scale industries.
- Preserving local varieties of crop with scientific and knowledgeable advice through welfare service by arranging seminar and workshops from time to time with the attendance of experience in these field.
- Scheme foe clearance of rural, self-help, housing etc. Provide Govt. empower the society to undertake such activities.
